NASSAU  BAHAMAS

Ocean Club- Paradise Island Golf Course

A redesign by Tom Weiskopf in 2000 has transformed the course into an entirely new track (which encompassed the old airstrip). Much of the foliage that blocked the ocean views was removed to make way for seaside tees and greens, as well as 121 luxury homesites (all sold in a month) along the Atlantic Ocean and Nassau Harbor. Ernie Els is the Ocean Club’s touring pro, and Michael Jordan stages his annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational (televised October 17, 2002) here.

South Ocean
Golf Club

Nestled away from Nassau's main tourist areas, yet just minutes from the airport, downtown and major attractions. South Ocean Golf Club is a Golfer's Paradise. This golf course is an 18 hole Championship rated, that is a wonderfully challenging Joe Lee design, built in 1972. The front nine of the golf course is a parkland style well-bunkered greens and water coming into play in three of the nine holes. The back nine winds through a large section of our 195 acre property. The back nine is also highlighted by the numerous elevations and changes that start with the uphill of the par three 11th hole.

Radisson Cable Beach
Golf Course

The newly redesigned golf course plays 6,453 yards and features spacious fairways guarded by a beautiful network of lakes. The greens are protected by a series of multiple mounds to create containment to assist the golfer who occasionally strikes a stray shot. Additionally, the course features a minimum of sand bunkers making it a challenging but "resort friendly" course for golfers of all skill levels.

CAYMAN ISLANDS
Brittannia- Hyatt
Golf Course
The Britannia Golf Course is a Scottish style design by Jack Nicklaus. And the Golden Bear's only Caribbean course credit to date is also one of his more creative in that it can be played three different ways. All day Monday, Wednesday, Friday and on Sunday mornings the course is set up in executive format. The 18-hole, par-57 challenge consists of 15 par-3s and three par-4s. It's a quick jaunt - typically takes a little less than three hours - and perfect for vacationers determined to hit the hot sand of the beach in the afternoon. The rest of the week the course plays as a nine-hole championship design that can be navigated twice from different tees for a full 18-hole, par-70 experience checking in at just under 6,000 yards.

Links at Safehaven
Golf Course
The Links Grand Cayman Golf at SafeHaven has been designed to compliment the existing Caymanian terrain, taking into full account the natural obstacles of prevailing ocean breezes, narrow fairways and abundance of water and sand. This 6605-yard par 71 course was designed in 1994 by Roy Case and is set against the North Sound, making for both interesting play and panoramic vistas of the Caribbean Sea. Located on West Bay Road, close to the famous 7 Mile Beach waters, a round of golf on The Links is a must for avid golf fans or the amateur looking to spend a day of leisure on the island.

COZUMEL
Cozumel
Country Club
This couse was built with cruise ship passengers in mind. The total number of passengers arriving in Cozumel in 2003 is expected to be 1.8 million, not to mention 700,000 crew members, many of whom also play golf. Passengers like this course a lot, but they do sometimes complain about losing too many balls. This comes as no surprise after playing the 6,734-yard, par-72 course, which winds around trees, mangroves and wetlands, incorporating the natural habitats of the island. In the process, there are significant carries over marshy areas and water hazards, craters created in construction when limestone and coral rock was quarried to construct elevation for the course. Calcarious rock, a high calcium limestone, was a main ingredient of the terrain, where Bermuda 419 was used for fairways and hybrid Bermuda for greens. The first hole, a casual 378-yard, par-4 which doglegs slightly left around a pond, is a precursor of hazards yet to come. About half of the holes have significant water to deal with, and all carry the imminent threat of a ball lost forever in the kind of spiny, malicious growth only an ancient Mayan would venture into. Your golf bag may get precariously low on balls by the time you reached the daunting 18th, an easy-sounding 356-yard Par-4 handicapped as No. 4, which nevertheless required a precision shot 150 yards over a marsh to a small landing area.

Teeth of the Dog
Casa de Campo

Ranked the number one course in the Caribbean and 34th in the top 100 courses in the world by Golf Magazine, play Teeth’s seven holes directly on the Caribbean Sea. The “Teeth” course attracts the best professional and amateur golfers in the world. Tricky shots include a devilish dogleg and signature Dye obstacles such as elevated greens and trick of the eye trees. Top-notch caddies are ready and eager to guide you through the terrain.

The Links
Casa de Campo

The Links course, also designed by Pete Dye, has a moderately hilly track with tall bahia and guinea grass roughs as well as plenty of sand traps to keep you on your toes. Thought by some to be reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses, there are several lagoons and even lakes with wading birds. There are five holes where water comes into play on this course making it a challenge unto itself.

Dye Fore
Casa de Campo

Of the 18 picturesque holes on the Dye Fore course, number 12 and number 15 are two of the greatest par three courses in the world. This new addition to the Casa de Campo golf triad is said to rival the “Teeth of the Dog” course. “Dye Fore has spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, the mountains, the Chavón River below and the Altos de Chavón artists' village," said Gilles Gagnon, Director of Golf at Casa de Campo. "Visually, the course is intimidating and the par three's are incredible.”

JAMAICA
Wyndham Rose Hall
Golf Course
Championship course is laid out between the sea and the mountains. The signature 8th hole plays along the sea and then out on to a pennisula; the back nine challenge the hills and offer a panoramic view (300 ft up); the 13th and 15th holes feature a waterfall!
Par: 72
Ritz Carlton White Witch
Golf Course
The White Witch Course, designed by the international architectural team of Robert Von Hagge, Rick Baril and Mike Smelek, opened in August 2000 as the centerpiece of the new Ritz Carlton Rose Hall Resort. Instead of traditional tropical terrain, the layout is mountainous and rugged. The 6,718-yard course sticks to the high ground where there are cool breezes and ocean views on 16 holes. This elevated route can be intimidating, with its carries over jungle-like terrain.
Par: 72
Half-Moon Bay
Golf Course
Like Tryall, the historic Half Moon layout has an international tournament reputation. The 1961 Robert Trent Jones design is relatively flat, but long (7,115 yards) and subject to constant, sweeping winds. Nine holes play into the wind, nine against. A caddy is a must, since his advice can mean a difference of two or three clubs to compensate for the wind.
Par: 72
Cinnamon Hill
Golf Course
"Cinnamon Hill is unlike any other seaside course we've designed," says designer Robert Von Hagge. "There's no question that its holes are among the most varied in the Caribbean." What the architect refers to is the split personality of the 6,798-yard, par 71 layout. The gently rolling front nine opens under the gaze of the 18th-century Rose Hall Great House, then rambles past the walled graveyard of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's family and down to the ocean. Holes seven and eight are so near the water that a cranky sea breeze can easily whip your ball into the deep.

SuperClubs Ironshore
Golf & Country Club
The former Iron Shore Golf and Country Club has been referred to as Jamaica's gem in the rough. Since January 2000, SuperClubs, the Caribbean's all-inclusive resort giant, has been polishing that gem, now the SuperClubs Golf Club Montego Bay. A beautifully decorated new clubhouse is in place, and a massive course renovation has been completed. The greens are in their best condition in 20 years, locals say.

Super Club Runaway Bay
Golf Club
Designed by British commander John Harris in 1960, the 6,870-yard layout has been periodically upgraded to meet modern demands, and is well-maintained, with mature trees and flowering plants, lending color to lush fairways. This course has hosted many championship events, including the Jamaica Open and the World Cup of Golf Qualifier. Legendary for its breathtaking views of the Caribbean and notoriously fast greens, many have tried, but few have truly conquered this course.
Par: 72
Tryall Club
Golf Course
The two new Von Hagge courses in Montego Bay have created a dynamic triumvirate with the historic Tryall Course, considered one of the finest tournament venues in the Caribbean. Over the past two years, diligent management has brought the Tryall course back to world-class form, with a second driving range and other practice facilities

PUERTO RICO

Bahia Beach Planation
Golf Course

Bahia Beach is the only public golf course in the San Juan area. This course has the best golf value in Puerto Rico. The golf course was literally carved out of a coconut grove. There are no two holes alike; the view of the El Yunque rain forest is incredible. The last three holes line the ocean. Well maintained and a great designed golf course.

Dorado del Mar
Country Club

Chi Chi Rodriguez, the Puerto Rico’s ambassador of Golf, brings his style and love of golf to Dorado. Dorado Del Mar is a fun and exciting golf course. The setting is located in a community with the golf course located in the center, makes for very tight fairways. Beautifully landscaped with fair amount of water and bunker trouble. Chi Chi’s signature hole is #10. A par 5 uphill dogleg left to a green sitting right off the Ocean. Play where Chi Chi plays. After the round enjoy a beverage of your choice in the members lounge.
Par: 72

El Conquistador
Country Club

This course is truly a must play. The course is carved out of the mountainside with spectacular views. Some fairways are hidden, so you must trust your game and aim at a target. The trick to the golf course is to play it at least twice. Many hidden shots and once you know your targets the course becomes more fun. Make sure you load up on golf balls prior to your round. The resort is amazing, with all the amenities that you will need.

Hyatt Dorado Beach

The course follows the Rio Grande River, making water come into to play very often. The Ocean Course is a classic course. The course runs through mangrove trees and is very difficult when the wind blows. There are plenty of bunkers and water hazards. The toughest hole is #16 a par 3 some 240 yards into the wind. Get on the green and consider yourself one of few.
