exceptionally rich picture gallery, Six Centuries of European Art Patronage, includes

instruments and scores by Beethoven and Mozart. The tour, with dinner, is exclusive to
Uniworld guests.
BUDAPEST
Budapest, stretching along the Danube on two sides, is a vibrant mix of the neoclassical,
Baroque, Medieval and modern and is one of the most fashionable cities in Europe. Visit
the spectacular Houses of Parliament, Heros Square, and marvel at the neoclassical
contours of St. Stephans Basilica. And on the Buda side, take in incredible views
from the Fishermans Bastion, high above the Danube.
VIENNA
This year, Vienna has planned many special celebrations to commemorate the 250th
anniversary of the birth of Mozart, making this city a very special destination. Tour the
heart of Vienna with a trip around the Ringstrasse, and delight in the lively atmosphere
of this Austrian capital. Shop along the fashionable Kärtnerstrasse, and enjoy a concert
or two in the music capital of Europe.
MELK
Melk is world-renowned for its magnificent 900-year-old Benedictine Abbey. This beautiful
complex is a supreme example of Baroque art and architecture. The views from its terrace
are spectacular, and the splendid frescoes, marble and gilded plasterwork are
masterpieces.
PASSAU
Located at the confluence of three rivers the Danube, Inn and Ilz the city
is most famous for its ornate Baroque cathedral. Wander its quaint cobblestone streets,
tour the cathedral, and browse through the charming shops.
REGENSBURG
The most striking view of this unspoiled medieval gem is from its 12th-century bridge,
1,014 feet long. Wander through the citys winding cobblestone streets to the
historic market square. Many stop for refreshment at the Wurstküche
serving sausages and beer for more than 800 years!
NUREMBERG
Nuremberg is an archetypal German Medieval city, encircled by mighty defensive walls and
red-roofed buildings. The stone streets are where the infamous Nazi rallies were held
during World War II, and its courthouse held the memorable trials after the war. The
walled Old Town is a delight to explore on foot, with its ancient, irregular street
pattern on both banks of the River Pegnitz.
